Years ago I wrote a song called You Cover Me Over. It expresses the complete safety and forgiveness I receive from God. Even just thinking about it fills me with warmth. I can rest in God. He’s got my back. Just as his love has covered our sins, we can choose love and forgiveness over contention and accusations.

Lord,

I feel safe, loved, and forgiven in your arms.
What an awesome place to be!
As you pour your love freely into me,
May I pour out into the lives of those around me.
