Today I am attending the West Coast Christian Writers’ Conference online, but it is also my day to write my blog. I decided to check my email and found the quote above in Allen’s daily email. He is always full of wisdom and points me back to my relationship with God being the most important. So while I am learning how to be a better, more impactful writer from some incredible teachers at the conference, I can absorb it all in peace. I know my value comes from being a daughter of the Creator, who blesses me with the joy of writing and supplies me with opportunities to learn more about my craft.

This will be my scripture for today:

At one time all these things were important to me. But because of Christ, I decided that they are worth nothing. Not only these things, but now I think that all things are worth nothing compared with the greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord.
