God spoke
And I listened,
“Let your fears be blown away
By My Holy Breath,
Allowing the breeze
To bring a calm
And a refreshing.”

So here I sit
In stillness
Exhaling…releasing…
Every tight place,
Every anxious thought
To be caught up by the wind
Like the Fall leaves
Scattered in a swirling frenzy.

And I breath in…
Secure in the presence
Of my Father God
Feeling His hand
Brush my cheek and
Falling to rest
On my own hands

And I am ready…
Ready again
For what comes next.
