This week I was about to begin with my list of seven scriptures for the week that I had prepared, but something didn’t feel right. So I went back to the drawing board and looked up some of my starred scriptures. I was immediately drawn to this one:
Psalm 139:13-14 You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb. Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it. NLT
This was it! These verses are worth repeating, remembering, and comprehending. Especially as they relate to health. Each one of us though similar, retain our uniqueness, our identity as being one-of-a-kind. For each of us, our journey toward living a wholly healthy life is not a matter of following a step-by-step cookie cutter program, but must be nuanced to fit our specific person: physically, intellectually, emotionally, and spiritually.
I am excited about sharing the things I’ve learned that have helped me; knowing some of this information will help some of you, while maybe stirring others to look for solutions that will be a better fit.
I hope, this week, you will be encouraged to come to know and understand yourself and your uniqueness with greater clarity and love, remaining in awe of the One who created you.
