I really wanted to post something of my own today after feeling inspired by the post I reblogged. But I’m still having some writer’s block and I’m not sure how to break through. The other morning after a restless night’s sleep, I jotted down the beginnings of a song and as I’m never one for patience, I’ve decided to post that. Maybe in so doing, I will be forced to finish it. 😉 So without further ado:
Keeper of my heart,
Lover of my soul,
Strength when I am weak,
This is the God I know.
He calls me His beloved,
He’s my shelter in the storm,
A friend who’ll never leave me,
This is the God I know.
