Therefore repent and be converted, that your sins may be wiped away, that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord,

My Savior, Jesus, wants to send me times of refreshing. I know I need it! Have I allowed the heaviness of the world to weigh me down? Have I allowed the persistent noise of life to demand all my attention? Am I standing in the way of the refreshing of the Lord?

Jesus,

Search me and know my heart.
Forgive me for being distracted by life’s demands,
And attempting to handle everything on my terms.
When I grow weary or anxious in this crazy time,
When I find I’m not enough,
Help me to turn to you, seek your forgiveness,
And await your time of refreshing.
