Now may God, the fountain of hope, fill you to overflowing with uncontainable joy and perfect peace as you trust in him. And may the power of the Holy Spirit continually surround your life with his super-abundance until you radiate with hope!

Depression can feel like a bottomless pit, my thoughts spiraling down. Where is my joy? I can’t find it when my focus is turned inward. I can only see my flaws and failings.
Holy Spirit,
Pull my thoughts back to you.
Remind me of your power.
Remind me of your heart toward me.
Fill me to overflowing.
Turn this bottomless pit into
A fountain of joy.
