You who spend your days shrouded in darkness can now say, “We have seen a brilliant Light.” And those who live in the dark shadow land of death can now say, “The Dawning Light arises on us.”

“Shrouded in darkness” is a great visual of the feeling of depression. But when I “see” Jesus, his light disperses the darkness.
Jesus,
Shine your light into my dark places.
Brighten my mind with your truth.
Brighten my soul with your presence.
Expose any hidden thing
That that stands between us.
For I will praise you.
I will bask in your light.
