There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

Galatians 3:28 (ESV)

God’s righteousness comes through the faithfulness of Jesus Christ for all who have faith in him. There’s no distinction. All have sinned and fall short of God’s glory, but all are treated as righteous freely by his grace because of a ransom that was paid by Christ Jesus.

Romans 3:22-24 (CEB)

No matter our ethnicity, our social status, or our gender, when we come to Christ we come on equal ground. We all have fallen short. We can’t measure up. We are not deemed worthy by our nationality, our political association, or our good works. We can’t be good enough, or oppositely, too bad, to receive God’s grace. Not only do we come to him on equal ground, we continue in him equal before the Father.

Father God, 

Help me to see every person around me
as a person for whom Jesus died.
You do not differentiate based on earthly things.
You see our hearts and our equal need for you.
You love us all.
