This is why I wait upon you, expecting your breakthrough, for your Word brings me hope.
Psalm 130:5 (TPT)
The definition of anticipation draws in not just expectation and hope, but a feeling of what it is like when our hope is fulfilled. While looking for a picture for this post, I found pictures of children at Christmas, women who were pregnant, and dogs looking out windows. Each scene brought the feeling of excitement for what was coming.
If hope brings joy, anticipation brings participation. When we live in anticipation, we are firing on all cylinders. Our thoughts, emotions, and actions, focused in one direction.
Just ask and it will be given to you; seek after it and you will find. Continue to knock and the door will be opened for you. All who ask receive. Those who seek, find what they seek. And he who knocks, will have the door opened.
Matthew 7:7-8 (VOICE)
I am ready to let hope bring joy to my life. I am ready, anticipating what my life will feel like, full of hope, joy, and the love of God firing me up.
Grace & Peace,
Sandy
