Even when we are too weak to have any faith left, he remains faithful to us and will help us, for he cannot disown us who are part of himself, and he will always carry out his promises to us.

When I believed in Christ, I entered into a covenant (a contract or agreement) with him. Fortunately for me, when my side is lacking, he remains faithful. When I’m sitting in my dark place thinking I’ve let him down, he lifts my chin and says, “I’ve got you!”
Sweet Jesus,
You are the lifter of my head.
Your power to save me is steadfast.
You’re desire for me to flourish
Is unwavering.
Settle me into the depth of your faithfulness.
