So let us step boldly to the throne of grace, where we can find mercy and grace to help when we need it most.

When my own efforts fail to bring relief from wallowing in the pit of depression I often find myself hoping God will fix me. But maybe it’s not so important to be fixed. Maybe it’s about relationship and understanding my need for God.
Lord God,
Open my eyes to who you are
And who you can be in my life.
When I’m so busy trying to fix myself,
Remind me of what you’ve already done.
Help me let go of my striving.
