I need God’s power. When I am depressed, I feel powerless to rise above it. When I am anxious, I feel powerless to control my circumstances. When I have pain, I feel powerless to fix my body. My power is insufficient.
Holy Spirit,
You have made your home within me
Filling me with divine power.
Yet my human nature battles with the divine,
Deceiving me,
Making me feel powerless.
Let the truth of your power within me
Bring me back to your love.
