And if anyone longs to be wise, ask God for wisdom and he will give it! He won’t see your lack of wisdom as an opportunity to scold you over your failures but he will overwhelm your failures with his generous grace.

Anyone out there ever been made to feel foolish? Have you ever been called out for a bad decision? Unfortunately, my hand is raised. The fortunate thing is that no matter what level of intelligence, knowledge, or education we have, God’s gift of wisdom is available to us. We only need to ask.
Lord,
You give your wisdom freely.
You don’t disparage me for asking.
You don’t say, “I told you so.”
Because you love me,
and are for me,
and want to see me prosper.
Thank you for this gift.
