Jesus replied, “If you only knew who I am and the gift that God wants to give you, you’d ask me for a drink, and I would give you living water… if anyone drinks the living water I give them, they will never be thirsty again. For when you drink the water I give you, it becomes a gushing fountain of the Holy Spirit, flooding you with endless life!”

John 4:10,14 (TPT)

Jesus gives us the Holy Spirit, our endless source of life. He compares the Holy Spirit to water and our need to thirst. When we thirst for life, do we quench our thirst with earthly things? If so, we will only find ourselves wanting. When the Holy Spirit becomes our source, he continually fills us. We are consistently satisfied.

Holy Spirit,

Be my life-source.
Always flowing.
Ever present.
Fill me to overflow.
