So if you sinful people know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him.

I went to my two-year-old grandson’s birthday party yesterday. I love him and wanted him to love the gifts I gave him. Isn’t that the way Papa God is? Even more so?

The Holy Spirit is the ultimate good and perfect gift. He brings even more gifts with him when he arrives in our life. He comes with power to help us create our best life. I can’t wait to show you all the gifts he brings.

Papa God,

Thank you for giving me the Holy Spirit.
I need him deeply.
Forgive me for the times I’ve forgotten 
Or ignored this gift, 
Attracted by the allure of earthly sparkle.

Holy Spirit, 

I am so thankful for your presence.
You are loving and patient with me,
And so wise and powerful.
You surprise and delight me with your revelations.
