Perhaps you are a people-pleaser, painstakingly pushing to purchase the perfect presents for all your picky people, until you end up a penniless pauper.
Perhaps you are a perfectionist, persisting to present the picture perfect performance with prestigious purchases piled high in primly wrapped presents, while passionately pretending pride has no place in your personality.
Perhaps you privately proclaim, “I am Prince (or Princess) of my palace!” permitting yourself to be persnickety, patronizing, pretentious, and puffed-up.
Perhaps you are peculiar and playful, preferring pranks and poking-fun over polite prattle and placating prickly partners.
Perhaps you are a perplexed and pessimistic prune, allowing the pressure of problems and pains to persistently pester you.
Perhaps perusing the P’s in this post has left you pitifully in the pit of a pity party as you peek at the palpable problems that can pour past the perception of being proper.
But perhaps by pursuing peace with each other, patience with ourselves, praying the promises of God, and praising the Prince of Peace, we can find our pleasant and pleasing purpose.
Do all that you can to live in peace with everyone.
Romans 12:18 NLT
Whatever your persona, I hope this alliteration was more pleasure than pain.
Grace & Peace,
