Divine Helper

My week has brought the accomplishment of some of my goals.

I finished my rewrite of the first chapter of my novel and settled on the name.
I was able to have my first Zoom meeting with my writing support group.
I was placed in my first choice of the Mastermind Groups through the writers academy I’m enrolled in.
Our life group finished reading The Divine Mentor, by Wayne Cordeiro.

Today’s scripture was like the period at the end of a sentence. A great way to wrap up this week.

But the Lord God has become my divine helper. He leans into my heart and lays his hands upon me!
Psalm 54:4 TPT

This reminded me of something I highlighted in the last chapter of The Divine Mentor: ”My greatest fear is that I should ever lose God’s hand on my life.”

The way The Passion Translation words this verse speaks to me. Comfort permeates my heart as God leans into me. I imagine the warmth of his hand against my cheek as he turns my gaze into the depths of his loving eyes. My God continually reassures me he is for me. Whether it is through his word or through his people. I am truly thankful!

  1. Hi, Sandy! I’m so excited about our Mastermind group! I sent you a welcome email on Monday. If you haven’t seen it, please check your spam. Or let me know here and I’ll send it again. Thanks!

  2. nice to read your share. thank you. how’s the mastermind group work? is it open for new people? how about the support group? what exactly do you do when you get together? just curious but would be happy to have your response when possible. Cheers.

    1. Thank you, Sophia, for your comments. I signed up for the Flourish Writers Academy at the beginning of the year. It has been the best decision I have made in progressing my writing. The Mastermind groups where part of the Academy and the support group was part of the process. We were encouraged us to find our own. What a world of difference that one idea made for me. We keep in touch on a group chat where I can ask for prayer or they post encouragement. They also read my writing and give comments. I have a coach who keeps me on track with my goals. Having a community is a great boost when writing seems to keep us secluded.

      1. The Academy isn’t open right now but Flourish has other courses available through out the year. Check out Flourishwriters.com. 😊
