Raindrops: A Drop of Grace

But he answered me, “My grace is always more than enough for you, and my power finds its full expression through your weakness.” So I will celebrate my weaknesses, for when I’m weak I sense more deeply the mighty power of Christ living in me.

2 Corinthians 12:9 (TPT)

My depression comes and goes and I deal with it with an ounce of prevention and sometimes a pound of cure, as the saying goes. Still, some days it settles over me. On those days I remember I have God’s grace. He doesn’t expect me to have it all together. He wants me to depend on him.

Lord,

When I give in to a bad day,
You don’t see my weakness as a challenge,
But as an opportunity to release your power.
I know these truths,
Forgive me for not letting you in.

Amen
